Amenities

Activities

Carnegie Park’s activities program provides a positive, uplifting atmosphere filled with opportunities to socialize and be active. Through partnerships and local outreach in Carnegie PA, residents are able to stay connected to each other and the wider community, which can improve a patient’s mental and physical well-being while receiving care. We are proud to offer a daily schedule to keep residents as active and sociable as they’d like to be. We always welcome friends and family to attend our special events. Activities include entertainment like musical performances, holiday parties, movies, games, and trivia.

Dietary Program

Our registered dietitian follows physician orders to create meals that meet the specific dietary and therapeutic needs of our patients. Our team will also conduct regular nutritional assessments to ensure meals meet residents’ changing needs.

These carefully crafted meals support a variety of residents’ needs including:

  • medical and supplemental diets
  • diabetes management
  • religious diets
  • gluten-free options

Social Services

Our social service team assists patients and families during transitional periods, such as preparing for discharge. We also:

  • provide essential information
  • manage requests and concerns
  • arrange for outside medical services such as dental, vision, audiology, and podiatry

We can also assist in arranging for psychiatric evaluations, dementia assessments, and individual therapy.

Other services include legal assistance, transportation to outside appointments, and even accompanying residents (upon request) to those appointments.
